About
Welcome! Thank you for dropping by The Turning Point.
A Little About Me
I am a Certified Executive and Personal Coach (Royal Roads University, ICF accredited). My background education is: Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, Conflict and Resolution Associate Program from the BC Justice Institute, as well as Masters level Counselling and personal development courses. All of which colors my coaching style.
What I love
Coffee. Connection. Creativity. And Coaching! One of my great loves is to help women free themselves of the personal challenges that life tends to send our way. As a coach I specialize in women’s issues: heartbreak, grief, doubt, fear, overcoming emotions that threaten to swallow us up, transforming the beliefs that hold us back, venturing to new places in life and finding the way forward.
Writing
My blog, The Turning Point, is a space where I express my personal & professional learnings and hopefully provide other women with insights or inspirations to discover a turning point in their lives or day or moment. I write very openly and honestly and always from my heart.
I published a book for women struggling to overcome the issues stemming from the ending of a relationship.
Women’s Groups
I facilitate personal development workshops for women. I’d be honoured to facilitate and coach your group of friends or colleagues. A women’s group is an opportunity for you to acquire new insight, adopt strategy and ideas from other women, and explore whatever issue you choose in a cozy, supportive, friendly environment. Be it relationship challenges (or headaches), parenting issues, what’s happening with work (or not happening but you wish for), what’s hurtful, what’s scary and what’s worth celebrating; Refreshing, real, relatable conversation and connections with like minded & inspired women to enhance our lives. I’d love to hear from you!
Your thoughts and feelings mean a great deal to me! I lovingly read all of your comments and do my very best to reply. If you prefer to comment in private, email carrie@carriesouthern.com.
